In 2011 the Bachelor College set up the Innovation Fund with the aim of encouraging innovation in education with a thematic call issued each year to enable lecturers acquire funds to start up innovating initiatives. All the products developed in the context of the Bachelor College educational innovation fund are at the disposal of all lecturers and students of the TU/e Bachelor College.
The theme of this current call is "Organizing and giving qualitative feedback to students". Learning is governed by being aware of what you know and what you don't know. Students therefore benefit from proper feedback in performing their tasks. 'Prompt feedback enhances learning'. Qualitative feedback can enable students get started with their learning (making the requisite foreknowledge explicit) and they can be steered and motivated while and after they process the study material. In this way feedback makes a positive contribution to the feasibility of the study programs at TU/e.
